Milton Montenegro: Portraits from Brasília
To create this essay, photographer Milton Montenegro focused on characters from the political scene in Brazil and, by using images found on the internet, produced what he calls "digital collages".
“Since my childhood, I was fascinated by the possibility of learning something about people by observing the features of their faces. I have been collecting photos of Brazilian political figures for two years and duplicating one half of their faces. I realized that this process amplified the more ludicrous characteristics of each one of them", explains Milton.
All images were made using an iOS photo-editing application developed by the photographer himself, named 'The Cool Cam'.
